Portland Tap Takeover Night

For those in town on Thursday night, Vacationland Distributors has set up tap takeovers at some great Portland spots where the taps will be filled with beers from several breweries pouring at Wavy Days! Here’s the list of locations in no particular order, but we’ll be starting at The Great Lost Bear then heading downtown for the rest of the evening:

FRIDAY, JUNE 27th
Brewers’ Welcome Dinner
Mast Landing Brewing Co. Westbrook Taproom

Join us in Westbrook at 6:00pm for our Brewers’ Welcome Dinner. Josh Berry is back this year and has another unreal dinner planned for us! We’ll have some mixed drink, seltzers and plenty of beer too. This is where you’ll check in and get your brewer lanyard and other cool stuff. As always, you definitely don’t want to miss this dinner. At 9:00pm, we’ll walk down the street and hit up Paper City BBQ for some Karaoke and cheap beers. Last year was a blast.
SATURDAY, JUNE 28th
Wavy Days Beer Fest
Thompson’s Point, Portland, ME
Please arrive to Thompson’s Point by 10:30 am and be ready to pour by 11:30am. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee will be provided. Water and snacks will be available at your table.
Doors open at 11:00am so attendees can grab some food and check out the local vendors, but pouring does not start until 12:00pm. Your beer will be at Thompson’s Point ready for you unless you are bringing it with you to the fest. If you are pouring cans, we will have two ice bins for you. If you indicated you needed a jockey box, we will have one for you with CO2. We will have plenty of ice. Remember, no drinking from behind the table and only drink from your provided taster glass.
SATURDAY, JUNE 28th
Official Wavy Days After Party at The Thirsty Pig
37 Exchange St, Portland
6:00pm - CLOSE
Head to The Thirsty Pig after Wavy Days Beer Fest at 6:00pm to keep the party going! They’ll have a great beer, delicious food and Live Music. We’ll provide two food vouchers per brewery at the beer fest on Saturday.
SUNDAY, JUNE 29th
(For those still in town and not too hungover)
Sour Brunch at Mast Landing’s Freeport Taproom
200 Lower Main Street, Freeport, ME
11:00am -2:00pm
Head to our Freeport Taproom on Sunday morning for Brunch by Nighthawk’s Kitchen paired with a great lineup of sours from Wavy Days guest breweries. This event is usually pretty chill but well attended by customers. Brewers are not required to attend, but welcome to stop by if you’d like.
